Ed Kuhn is WMPG’s Co‑Founder and Strategic Risk Advisor, and the person you call when a cutting-edge wellness business needs surplus lines expertise. Over three decades across underwriting, brokerage, and insurance finance, Ed has earned a reputation for being easy to talk to and authority in the industry. He takes the noise out of risk so owners can do they what they do best - help others. 

Ed began at Evanston Insurance Company in 1991, developing a specialty in complex and emerging liability classes within the E&S market. In 2001 he launched Liability Insurance Solutions, a boutique brokerage for hard‑to‑place risks. By 2014, he partnered with Dr. Samuel Augustus to co‑found WMPG, uniting deep market access with an operator‑first mindset for aesthetic medicine, integrative care, IV therapy, hormone optimization and much more.

As WMPG evolves, Ed mentors our specialists and helps shape partnerships that reduce exclusions, avoid incidents, and support scale with fewer blind spots. Based in Chicago, he supports practices nationwide, speaks at industry events, and remains hands‑on in partner evaluations and client education.
